I was fortunate enough to be sent this to try awhile ago, given that I am such a huge Batiste fan. I like natural products so, I was eager to give this a try. This dry shampoo contains 100% natural ingredients, is fragrance free, comes in a recyclable bottle-a claim not many dry shampoo’s can make!

Pro’s
- Ingredients are 100% natural
- Packaging is 100% eco-friendly
- Nozzle can allow for more precise application and less product wastage.
Con’s
- Effectiveness-when I compare this to the aerosol can version of Batiste, I found that it wasn’t half as effective at getting rid of my oily roots.
- Time of application-you definitely won’t be able to apply this in a hurry or in a moving vehicle. As you either have to squirt the powder on certain parts of your hair, or (if you are like me) pour some of the powder onto your hand, and then rub it into your hair.
Most important question-Would I give up using the can version of Batiste for this version?
I’d have to say no! For me, I like how the can give a good dispersion of the product, so you don’t really have to worry about missing a spot. Also, I typically use Batiste when in a rush and don’t have time to wash my hair, so Batiste Nude negates this advantage. I do however, think that its great that companies like Batiste, are making eco-friendly and 100% natural alternative to their existing products, and think that if you detest using products with chemicals then this is definitely for you!

Mmm interesting, I hadn’t come across this, I sometimes use baby powder if I’m stuck! Scummy, I know, but it works. Enjoying your site. x

I haven’t seen Batiste Nude anywhere except larger Boots stores and on the net.
I must admit that prior to knowing about the existence of dry shampoo, I reached for the ‘aul baby powder to soak up excess hair oil too. It definitely works as a quick fix, though, once you start using dry shampoo you will never go back
