Instyle Freebies August 4, 2010

Hey everyone,

I thought I would let ye know (for those that don’t know already) that Instyle magazine are giving away a free, full-sized The Body Shop lip and cheek stain with their September issue.

There are too shades available-rose pink (which looks red in the tube) and bronze glimmer (a metallic bronzer with a lot of glitter in it).  The lip stain comes in a tube, and unlike stains like Benefit’s Benetint and Poisetint, this stain has a wand applicator.

I haven’t purchased any myself, as I already have too many lip and cheek products on the go as it is However, if my research of the lip and cheek stain turns out positive I might change my mind.

Anyone used this product before? Would you recommend it?

Confessions of a Bargain-a-holic May 11, 2010

I’m not sure if I have mentioned it before but I am a complete bargain hunter and love seraching for bargains and freebies of all sorts.

With that in mind, I’ve decided that everyone deserves a bargain and I will be posting when I find one that lots of people can avail of.

This month’s best bargain’s are fashion and beauty related.

1. Nails Inc Nail Polishes & Instyle magazine

First up, are the free Nails Inc nail varnishes that are free with this months Instyle magazine. There are three available options, a bright red-which is really nice for summer and evening looks, a nude beige  (which I posted about before) and a  dusty rose colour nail varnishes. These are great value, as the magazine retails about the 5euro mark and the varnishes RRP is much much more than that!

So, hotfoot it to your nearest shop if you haven’t picked up one of these babies yet.

2. Cath Kidston totes

With this months Easy Living magazine, you can pick up a free large Cath Kidston tote. They come in two designs-one of which is a lovely floral one (and we all know that the floral trend is HUGE this summer with clothes and accessories). I really like Cath Kidston bags, as they are vintage and quirky, and so different to what you find in most shops. The bags are quite big, which makes them great for holidays and trips to the beach
